Royal’s Tyler McClure was honored on the Star All-County Swimming First Team in the 200 Freestyle. Tyler broke the school record in the 200 Free and was the Marmonte League champion in both the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke. Teammate Juan Camero was selected to the Star’s All-County Second Team in the 100 Breast Stroke.

Royal’s Melani Meister was selected to the Star All-County Swimming Second Team in Diving.

The Royal Boys Swim Team finished second at the Marmonte League Championship. Individual honors go to the Highlander relay team (McClure, Camero, Lubell, Cobb) who won the 200 medley race while the 400 freestyle relay team (McClure, Lubell, Thomas, Cobb) won; Tyler McClure won the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke; Ben Cobb finished third in the 50 freestyle and second in the 100 freestyle; Juan Camero won the 100 breaststroke and was third in the 100 freestyle; Robert Lubell won the 500 freestyle;

The Royal Girls Swim Team finished third at the Marmonte League Championship. Individual honors go to the Highlander 200 medley teams second place finish. Kacey Creek was second in the 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke.
